Department of Revenue Announces 2026 Permanent Fund Dividend

Friday, September 18, 2026 (Juneau, AK) – Starting on October 1st, nearly 600,000 Alaskans will begin receiving their 2026 Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD) of $1,000.00, with an additional $200.00 energy relief payment.

The amount of this year’s PFD was determined by the Alaska Legislature in House Bill 263.

For 2026 PFD applications that were filed electronically, requested direct deposit, and are in "Eligible-Not Paid" status as of September 18, 2026, payment will be disbursed on October 1, 2026.

For 2026 PFD applications that are in "Eligible-Not Paid" status as of October 12, 2026, payment will be disbursed on October 22, 2026. This includes 2026 paper and electronic applications, requested direct deposit and check payments.

Alaskans are encouraged to use the state’s website MyPFD to check the status of their PFD application.
